4-H Shooting Sports
CC-SCI conducts several initiatives aimed at youth education and hunter safety and co-sponsors activity with other organizations pursuing similar objectives. First among these is the Chapter's long term commitment to the Maryland 4-H Shooting Sports Program. The Chapter has sponsored a multi-hunting-sport Youth Day at Pintail Point, joined with the Grand National Waterfowl Association at its family black-powder affair, and partnered with the Maryland Natural Resources Police during their youth day activities on the Potomac River. The Chapter is now working with the U.S. Sportsman's Alliance and their "Trailblazers" project.
