Humanitarian Services
CC-SCI has a number of projects underway in the area of humanitarian services. These include a project, initially on the Eastern Shore, under the "Sportsmen Against Hunger" program, providing venison and other game to a range of charities servicing the tri-county area (Dorchester, Caroline, Talbot). Annually, some 200 deer have been processed and distributed to local charities, along with stores of other wild game and fowl. CC-SCI was the first organization in Maryland to contribute to the statewide "Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry" program and we continue to support their efforts. From time to time, the chapter sponsors a "Sensory Safari" for the Maryland Institute for the Blind and other organizations.
