Alistair James
Professional Hunter Working in Tanzania
Alistair grew up in Easton, Maryland and was first introduced to African hunting by the Chesapeake Chapter. He started by spending his summers in Zimbabwe under the tutelage of Dave Joubert of Bembesi Safaris. After finishing school, Alistair moved to Tanzania to start hunting professionally. He apprenticed under Tanzania Big Game Safaris, and was granted his full PH license in 2004. He is now working as a free lance professional hunter in Tanzania, and will be conducting hunts this upcoming season with Tanzania Wildlife Company and Robin Hurt Safaris.
Alistair is looking for any local members who would be interested in hunting Tanzania. He is interested in building his reputation and would like to build a clientele base from members of his home chapter. (Read an article by Alistair James.)
