Dwight & David Moser's Safari
and Humanitarian Mission
in the Selous Area of Tanzania

You will see by the quality of trophys we took that this was one fantastic safari. One interesting note was the fact that Dwight celebrated his birthday over there and his PH asked the cook if he would make a cake for the evening meal. Pretty neat considering the only oven was a dutch oven heated by a bed of charcoals with charcoal piled on top. We found out that every meal was prepared over a wood fire in a pile of bricks they called the kitchen. It is hard to describe how good buffalo, hartebeast, reedbuck, etc. taste when prepared properly. We hunted hard from dark to dark every day, ate fantastic meals, and couldn't have asked for better PHs or camp staff. We had elephants and hippos right beside the camp; we didn't bother them and they did the same, awesome!!

At the end of our safari, we did a safari care humanitian mission in the village of Mbuga which was about 1 1/2 hours away. To be able to give the articles out to these children is something I will never forget.
